Spanish I 1.0 Credit Students develop the ability to communicate about themselves and their immediate environment using simple sentences containing basic grammatical structures. The language-learning process integrates basic aspects of the geography, customs, and culture(s) of the target language countries.

Spanish II 1.0 Credit Students continue to develop proficiency in all four language skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing with emphasis on the ability to communicate orally. They learn to function in real-life situations using more complex sentences and grammatical structures. They read material based on familiar topics and write short, directed compositions. They learn about the family structure, school life, and holidays of the target language countries.

French I 1.0 Credit Students will learn to read, write, speak, and understand spoken French. A developmental approach to the acquisition of essential vocabulary will build upon different themes at each level. The main language used in the class is French. In some stages a bilingual approach is used to explain grammar or to introduce cultural concepts especially at the early levels. It is most important to note that the target language is used extensively and it is the student's responsibility to work with the teacher to master this essential oral component.

French II 1.0 Credit At level two, students will better develop their listening and speaking skills and increase vocabulary and develop reading comprehension and writing skills. Work will be done in class to improve students? pronunciation and intonation. Upon completion of level two, students will be able to speak and write about their lives in simple past and future tenses. They will read and react independently in various contexts to selections at an appropriate level. Further elements of culture are examined.

I rate Crescent Prep H.S. (The Virtual Home School) at a 5 because the site is easy to direct through it and you can have a one on one chat with the teachers if you need help.

Dana & Staff,
Thank you so very much. Mary Received her transcript today, and immediately finished her college application and has already received her acceptance. I have only good things to say about your organization.
Mary looks forward to receiving the diploma and is very proud to say she is a graduate of Crescent Prep High School!

My child is a student at Crescent Prep H.S. I am pleased with the personal scheduling, as it works best for me and my child. The courses are well developed, and the teachers are also avilable. I would recommended CPHS to others. As a parent, I am very pleased with this program, (The Virtual Home School). I alos like the fact that the child has the opportunity to make the school his school, by getting involved with other student, and teachers. I like that the grades are graded almost immediately. I rate the program very highly favorable.

Everyone we have talked to has been extremely helpful, and has even gone out of their way considerably to help us out, and make everything come together in time. Awesome staff, my daughter, Lauren, LOVES the program/school criteria... so thank you, thank you, thank you, for everything! She has home schooled for three years, and was desperate for a challenging program! Thanks so much, again! Christine (P) and Lauren (Student)

To Crescent Prep H.S. staff & teacher, My daughter really enjoyed taking the Psychology course, it really provided much needed information, and easy instructions to follow. Her teacher was very helpful, when needed. We are new this year to the school & we are very glad we made this choice. Thank You, Mrs. Ashton (Brittany's mother)

I am a parent of a Crescent Prep H.S. student. A mother of 6, I have home schooled for MANY years and have used MANY different curriculums and programs. I can say that this has been BY FAR the most rewarding and successful program my daughter has encountered! She is very motivated and encouraged; she takes pride in her work and spends more time, willingly, completing her work than ever before. I am so thankful for Crescent Prep H.S.! You have made a positive difference in my child! I look forward to enrolling my last child in your program next year. It is wonderful to know I will not have to look any further for schooling options again! :))
